Tyler Linkenhoker is a Florida native and a veteran of the United States Army. He is blessed to serve the Lord through the mission of Hope Outreach International and through the community outreach programs at First Baptist Church of Bradenton. He and his family reside in Bradenton, Florida, where they enjoy visiting with family, boating and fishing.
Edison Emile Senat was born and raised in Carrefour, Haiti. He grew up in a Christian family and moved to the United States at the age of twenty to purpose an education. He is passionate about serving others and sharing God’s love in his community. Mr. Senat has served on the Board of Elders at Hope Community Church for more than five years, and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership (MACL) through Dallas Theology Seminary. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida. He currently resides in Parrish, Florida, with his wife and two children.
Jake Shetler was raised on a dairy farm in Michigan where church was a way of life for his family. He began seeking God’s purpose for his life as a young teenager and committed his life to Jesus Christ when he was sixteen. He has served in many leadership roles in his church community and is currently a Middle School Sunday school teacher at River Life Church in Bradenton. He is passionate about sharing Jesus’ love with those he encounters, and has been blessed to serve during mission opportunities in his community and around the world. Jake owns a remodeling and handyman business in Bradenton, Florida, where he resides with his wife, Priscilla, and their three children – Mariah, Alexis and Jadon.
Medgine Senat was born and raised in Petit-Goave, Haiti. She was raised in a Christian home and moved to the United States at the age of eighteen to pursue her education. She is actively involved at Hope Community Church, where she has served as Finance Director and Usher Team Leader for several years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration at Webster University. Mrs. Senat is married to Edison Senat; they reside in Parrish, Florida, with their two children.
Dr. Werther Marciales came to Haiti a week after the earthquake in 2010 and has been involved in the ministry of Hope Outreach International since then. A specialist in Internal Medicine and Lipidology, Dr. Marciales was involved in the opening of the HOI Clinic in Lamothe in January of 2011. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, and has served as a physician at the Bradenton Physicians Medical Center since 2012.
Dr. Julio Volcy is the Founder and former Executive Director of Hope Outreach International. Born into a “common family” in Haiti, Julio understands just how important education and support are for the children of Lamothe. Dr. Volcy holds a Doctorate in Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia, and is the former Lead Pastor of Hope Community Church in Bradenton, Florida. He currently serves as the Executive Director of Haiti Teen Challenge in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where he resides with his wife and three children.
