Troy Blunden grew up in Bradenton, Florida. He was raised in a Christian home and committed his life to Christ at a young age. One summer, at a middle school church camp, he re-dedicated his life to Christ and sensed a call to youth ministry. From that point on, much of his focus has been on pursuing that calling. After High School, Troy attended Warner University in Lake Wales, FL, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Church Ministry and minored in Missions while also graduating from the HEART Institute.

Troy enjoys keeping exotic animals and has a small “hobby farm” with sheep and chickens. He loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and sports. Some might say he is a “jack of all trades.” Troy is very excited to be the Mission Coordinator with Hope Outreach International! Through this position, he is able to use the gifts and passions God has given him; including, world missions and his passion for growing God’s Kingdom. Troy has visited 16 different countries and served in missions from rural Appalachia and Washington, DC to India and Papua New Guinea, and, of course, in Haiti.

He was a full-time youth pastor for 4 years and has held many different roles in the local church. He resides in Bradenton, Florida, with his wife, Blair, and their three beautiful daughters - Taylor, Avery and Addison. Blair is a Physician Assistant, and has a strong passion for medical missions. Troy looks forward to working with you and your group to change the spiritual landscape of Haiti.
